Monty is a local businessman who grew up in DC with multiple startups including a $1billion+ IPO where he grew the company from <4 million to >40million members. After graduating, Monty’s industry experience included aviation, construction, project management and healthcare administration & systems. He is a frequent presenter on the lean approach to startups.

John Page - Founder & President
John is a 23-year resident of DC and has participated in or founded six startups. John has a high tech and telecom background and qualifications including rolling out a $50 million satellite network. Immediately prior to DC’s startup community he spent 9 years with Deloitte Consulting working internationally in the public and private sector including financial services and central markets, privatization, telecommunications, property development, healthcare and pharmaceuticals.

Justin Franks - Founder & CIO
Justin is a Digital Engagement specialist with a wide range of technical skills and experience in client services and customer care. Most recently he worked for the National Council for Behavioral Health responsible for all content management systems. He is an avid supporter of equity and earned his degree in International Relations from Michigan State University.

Juliana Cordona Mejia - Member
In addition to her role as Mentor, Julia is the founder of streetentrepreneurs.org which is a non-profit focused on helping ordinary (and extraordinary!) people acquire the skills and resources they need to succeed in business. Prior to these roles she worked as an innovation strategist in the private sector and at the World Bank using Design Thinking to promote project collaborations, conduct portfolio reviews and systems in agriculture. She graduated from Florida Southern College.
